This event is open to all OSDU members. There is a senior category, as well as an under-15 category ( which is not the same as the usual junior designation ). This event qualifies OSDU teams for the National BP Championships to be held later in the fall. This event will be online on Zoom.

Eastern Canada Junior Debate Tournament #2

Following up on a series of events hosted last year, we are pleased to announce that there will be six tournaments spread out over the course of the year to held in CNDF format, for junior level debaters ( grades 7 – 9 ). These events are open to schools in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and the 4 Maritime provinces. All events will be held on Zoom. While the events are in part aimed to promote debate for junior debaters and new schools, the events are open to anyone looking for a competitive event at this age level in this format.

This event is open to school entries, and debate institutions recognized by their provincial debate organizations. No student or individual entries.

Linked Key Public Speaking Tournament

The LinkedKey Public Speaking Championship is being hosted asynchronously (with videos submitted by December 3rd) and synchronously on December 12th online over Zoom. The cost per student is $30. Registration will be on a first come first served basis, capped at 100 participants. The registration deadline is November 20.

While the events are in part aimed to promote debate for junior debaters and new schools, the events are open to anyone looking for a competitive event at this age level in this format.

This event is open to school entries, with registration coming directly from a school teacher or coach. Independent debate entities are not eligible to attend. Also, no student or individual entries.
